That might be the result of an injury. And next year's left side might look more normal. Hard to say w/o closer inspection of the horn.

I'm far from an expert on elk, but it seems to me that you don't see "non-typical" antlers in Elk as often as you do in Whitetails and maybe Mulies. Do you elk guys agree?
