Nope it’s a 30WCF! same thing.

Last I had it out I was working on a spicy load using leverevolution and hornady 140 monoflexs. Velocities we’re looking good.

I have a box of 143 Lever Hammers I'm going to load. They should zip along pretty good. mtmuley

I had a box of those, they shot pretty well. The 100 gr was more accurate and faster out of my Marlin 30/30. Never shot anything with though.

I love that 93. What an awesome rifle. Looks a lot like mine, except my barrel is round. Take it west and kill an antelope or an elk. You will never have a better story to tell. @Hunting Wife will tell you it is a great experience. It is so different than what you are used to, but it works perfectly.

Work on out to 200 yds with it. You can do that.

Weird full circle moment here. I did indeed draw an elk tag in WY. And I did indeed tag out. And it was, indeed, well within lever action and irons distance... don't know if I'll ever recover the style points I missed out on there.

Also did load development for my 336. I grabbed a box of Barnes TSX 150s and was just hoping they would be clay target size groups at 100. First load I tried, nice little MOA group. Then another. I've run two more ranges with it since, and it now seems to be one of those rifles that naturally puts a bullet right where you want it to go. I'm big time stoked to get her out after some Florida whitetails in a few weeks.

Anyone ever put a Wild West trigger kit in their 336? Reviews seem favorable and I wouldn't imagine it would be too hard. Since I now have a rifle that is worth worrying about accuracy with apparently.

The WWG triggers are great, I've installed a lot of them. Do a thorough function check after install, sometimes they lighten things up too much.

Timney just came out with a trigger and hammer set for the Marlins as well. I don't have any experience with those yet.

It kinda seems like you do not need one if you can already shoot MOA. Your money.

Agree, only FX scope now is a $1500 4.5! Have one each of the 2.5 and 4, wish the 2.5x20 were still available, mine is on a Ruger 77/44.

17 pages and no M-71?? WTF? This is as she came since then a peep and sling studs have been added. As big a pain as the .348 is gathering components, I cant imagine what hoops Shrapnel has to jump through for some of his beauties.
