Setting a muzzleloader up now and learned that 1x optics are legal in the state I will be hunting. I already have a peep setup but want to have a red dot as primary and have the irons as backup. How well do the rds or red dots in general work in low light. In the past when looking at animals with a 3x scope, the image is far brighter through the optic.
Will the rds muzzleloader sight work in low light (first and last 10 minutes) or will it be a waste of time?
