well the wife and I decided too go out and hit the two point season one more time before it closed on Monday, so friday night we dropped the kids off at the grand parents house and headed south.... we got there right before dark and just saw doe's, the next morning we headed for the for sure spot and well we found 10 doe's and 1 two point but they knew what was going on, and were running 800 yards away.... so we watched where they were headed got around in position and still hunted a patch they went into, but there was no catching up, they were a 1/2 mile in front of us, headed out, so we called it a day, went back too the rig and listened too the BSU game and took a nap, well we decided too change area's and after a hour drive we arrived and had a late lunch, headed up the trail and about a 1/2 mile from the rig my wife spots a deer, we back up, check it out and it was a shooting quickly she put the .270 on my shoulder boom, nailed that deer quartering away right behind the last rib, went 30 yards and was down for the count, so proud of her, 2nd deer and her 4th kill... again so proud....
