Today was the last day for Chukar. I planned a trip to a new area. I had to program it in my GPS so I could find it. The road was GONE! The mud was bad in places, and the fog was thick.
This spot was amazing. The birds held well and Gretta put the "shake and bake" on them. We got into so many coveys that it was insane. I wished we had a few more days left
I got my limit in just two hours. Gretta wanted more but my vest was FULL!
On the way back to the truck I just headed the way I thought the truck was after a little bit I realized I was not going the right way. I dug out the GPS and found out I was indeed going the wrong way. Boy am I glad I carry that thing! The season just ended and I already want it to open back up. Maybe I will head for Nevada!
