What was your opinion on on your buy? I might buy the down jacket for when measure clast orientations in early spring.

Just ordered the Kuiu super down ultra jacket on sale
I needed a new one and like sales should be here next week I like being able to try things on and see in person but I know Kuiu is quality gear so pulled the trigger

How durable are the kuiu downs? Are ultralight puffy jackets inherently fragile or are the higher end kuiu, kifaru, Sitka etc. Jackets decent in the toughness department?

I bought the cover jacket from Kuiu and wear lighter layers with the outer shell while walking and put on the thicker down pants and thicker down on the outside while sitting as well. They do tear easily if not careful, not for bustin brush! They pack down small when not wearing them.
