I had to see what all the hype was all about the other day when I made the hour and a half trip up to Colorado Springs to Sportsmen's Warehouse. I tried on a pair of the Extreme 400 mountain boots and....HOLY SHITNIT!!! Luckily SW does a layaway plan, since I didn't have $400 to crap right then and there. But, in 90 days I'll be the proud owner of a new pair of boots....unless I win a pair in the BAYED (hint hint Big Fin...lol)

best boots ive ever worn. i liked them so much when i was hunting, i bought another pair for work!

look for a sale while you have those on layaway. I found them 30% off at endless.com. Shoebuy had similar procing at the same time. This was around christmas time.

They are that good. I was going thur boots in one season Danners, rockies and merrals. Not with kenetrek on the same pair since 2007.

So they're that good eh? Thats a lot of cashola for a pair of boots

Kinda what I thought :) I get a new pair of boots about every 4-5 years and I have yet to pay more than $125 and I'm happy with what I got :), BUT...I don't do the type of hunting the people here do, lots of rocks, hills...So my $125 dollar boots might only last 1 year as well. MN is pretty flat :)

A couple years ago I got mine at Bob Wards for 250. They had a big sale right before Christmas. Luckily they had my size. Look around they can be had much cheaper if you hit ti right.

Endless.com has them and Lowas and other stuff on sale for 25% off. That about $95 less than usual and ioncludes free 2-way shipping.
Use discount code MARFFEVT at checkout and you should see the applied discount just prior to finalizing the order.

Sale runs through March 18.
