Just got back from Arbitration over the accident in 03, where the guy hit me head on. The arbitrators decided, $50K for me, and legal fees. Maybe I can afford that Alaskan hunt.

Glad you got the settlement and hope it was at least what you deserved. When I had mine, I ended up with squat because she had min. coverage. It costs me roughly $24k out of my pocket. When the settlement was done and the lawyer paid, I ended up with about $1k.

Fortunatley, insurance took care of all the medical bills. This is for the pain and suffering. The hardest part was them damn lawyers and their stupid questions. Ex. Do you have a boat? Yes. Do you fish? Yes. Did you buy this boat to fish out of? Yes. How much did you pay for this boat? $30k. Why did you buy this boat? To fish out of. So you spent $30k for a boat to fish out of? Yes, and what the hell does, the boat have to do with my injuries, that are now healed? We aske the questions here, next question. We notice you wore a hat to the depostion. Yes I did. Why? Cause its raining outside. Do you always wear a hat when it rains? No I wear a hat when the sun shines too. Where did you get that hat? What the hell does the hat, have to do with my injuries. Whiskers I was in an acident 7 or 8 years back and we are finialy getting close to a settlement but I would rather have the full mobility of my sholder back. Mine is minor injury and I hope your was too. I know first hand no amount of money is worth going through an acident. congratulations on winning your case.

if that was me whiskers I would not have answered those questions until they could prove to me what it had to do with the accident. Sometimes they try to use that against you. At least here they do.
