I’ve had some funny encounters with animals in basements. But they are usually squirrels or woodchucks.
The craziest wasn’t inside a house but it was a turkey that was posted up just outside a persons back door and it wouldn’t let them outside without attacking them.

You'll have that. One morning I was woke by our chessy barking. I go up stairs, open the back door n hollar at the dog to shut up. Close the door n there is a grizzly bear sitting 6' away looking at me through the window.
