not as good as cheese whiz and jelly...
italian venison sandwiches
2-3# venison roast
2 bell peppers, sliced
1 lg. onion, sliced
big jar of spaghetti sauce
(or homemade, if ya got it)
salt & pepper
olive oil
hoagie rolls
mozzarella cheeze, sliced
slice roast into 1/4-1/8" slices(helps for meat to be partially frozen). season with salt and pepper. brown in olive oil and remove. add a dab more oil and saute veggies. place meat and veggies into crockpot cover with spaghetti sauce and cook 4-5 hours(you could also do this on the stove top). serve on rolls and top with cheese slices.
