Happy Hour at 10st Station in the basement of the historic Idanha
building across from Ben and Jerrys this coming Friday the 27th.
Team *Life life. Be brave.* will be there to celebrate my youngest daughter's four year battle against brain cancer. The owners are donating 15% of happy-hour from 5-7. Wife will be leaving next week for Washington D.C. to lobby our senators and congressmen to at minimum hold steady on funding for the National Institute of Health for catastrophic illness. Would be fun to meet some of you.

Would that I could, but it's a far piece. Hopefully the event will be successful, your wife will make some inroads in her quest, and I'd like to wish God's grace on your daughter and her struggle; our prayers to you all. RT

I won't be able to make it unfortunately. Know that your daughter is in our thoughts, my wife and I are both cancer survivors, I can't imagine having a child diagnosed.

Boise/Treasure Valley Happy Hour UPDATE

You are always saying that a story is no good without pics.

Thought I would let everyone know why we are doing this by posting a pic. *Red* is my youngest and going on four years as a brain cancer survivor. The pint size little lady just finished up her chemo for brain cancer in January and daughter went to see if she could lift her spirits a little. Classic example that cancer does not disriminate.

Would love to be there, but it's just a couple weeks earlier than my next trip to the big city. Hope they raise a goodly amount, and congrats on your daughter's success!

My son had a brain tumor at 2 years old he'l be 5 in may. Ependymoma on the brain stem. The surgeon at Seattle Childrens Hospital; Dr . Ojemann was brilliant. Thank god for guys/gals like him and the staff there were wonderful. Nothing but great things to say about that hospital. We followed up after the surgery with treatments at UW. Following with MRI's every 3 months to monitor. Everything has been great for us after the initial shock of everything.Thoughts and prayers out to you and yours buddy. PM me any time please. Tell your wife thanks for lobbying for us , and you have a beautiful little girl.
