Inherited Mounts ...Whats the consensus

My wife's grandfather passed away and no one in the family wanted any mounts. They're reason was they didn't shoot them. I asked my 5 year old if he wanted them and of course he said yes. So he has a 6x6 wy elk and a 185" wy muley also a black bear shoulder mount in his room and pictures from 1963,1964 to go along with.

Growing up I had my grandfather's walleye and perch on my walk. They weren't in great shape, but it was a nice connection to someone I didn't get to know very well before he passed.
