Importing bow into USA for hunting

I am going on a hunt to Hawaii with my bow, is there a permit system that I need to go thru to to import my bow n arrows. Tia

Nope. As far as they are concerned it's a golf club case. TSA will likely open it and look at it. They will leave you a little love note.

I believe archery equipment is considered sporting equipment. You may not be required to do anything for importing.

As above, taking a bow into USA is easy. No permits or special rules. Looking forward to hearing how you get on. I plan to hunt Hawaii with my bow one year soon.
