What are they planting in the field? We always used to wait on the re-plant and give it a bit of time. THe pigs will probably be back in a little while. Of course, that was in East Texas by the Neches River.

unfortunatly this is paper company land and they are planting pine trees it will be about 20 years before they are in there and visible again

I guess I've heard they'll root around in an area for a couple of weeks. The farms aound here, get them seasonally, if you found a place like that. This one place I used to go, knew they would get his milo in a week or two, after they ate up the neighbors watermelons. I would go around the milo field looking for the freshest tracks. Then I would set up there and in a couple of days, hogs would come by, pretty much. That was the best hog setup I ever had, that milo field. The farmer would be pissed if we saw one and didn't shoot as they could and did destroy up to $5000 of his milo before he got it harvested.

Good luck finding some of them rooting hogs!
