You have got to be loving this time of year.

I hunted with my youngest son Saturday, cool crisp weather mild breeze, pre rut conditions. Man it's great. Even if I don't shoot something or my son we had a great time just seeing allot of doe's. Doe's came in to some hard rattling, smaller buck ran from fear of getting their arc kicked.
Next few weeks is what the whole season is about. The Rut.

my son and I hunted saturday also....the early muzzy hunt is my personal favorite time of year to be out there. the prerut is the best time to be in the woods IMHO.

I hope to be back down in Va to bow hunt. I have a big buck I close to taging but I need time in the woods. Can get close sitting in my shop working all day.
