Idaho Elk Lemhi Zone

Hi all. I just took up archery hunting last year and have settled on the Lemhi Zone for an elk hunt this year. Any tips out there from Lemhi vets?

Did a little scounting up there last weekend and took this picture which I think is kind of cool. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me when I was in all the elk.

And then there was this picture that I took completely unawares that there was actually an elk in the midground until I got home and saw it on my computer monitor. It was taken about three in the afternoon on an almost 90 degree day. Whoduv thought that it would have been out walking around then?

Been there in that very basin (i won't name it). Check over the ridge to the right side of the image. It's a place they go!!
