I am thinking about joining this club. Mostly to be a part of a club that wants to get their Ideas heard. What is your opinion of this club? I live a long way away so i would not be a real active member as far as meetings. Ron

Great club with some real knowledgeable leadership in Russ Heughins, the President. He's very active in F&G politics and issues like sage grouse, sharptails and the Owyhee Initiative. He's one of the most dedicated wildlife advocates in Idaho.

Idaho Ron, I met Russ over this Owyhee Initiative deal. HAd lunch with him a few times and He's been to my office a few more times.. He is a Very Pasionate MAn, With Passion, comes great contravercy too. Be it good or Bad. I talked to a Few that like him and others that hate him.

I actualy wrote a Letter to Reappoint him on the "WHATEVER" commity for the BLM awhile back. I'll think of it here shortly maybe I did so because he knows alot and has good Ideas.

I think the Bird hunters have a Strong Voice for only around 40 members......
