Idaho Archery elk

Like many things in life, you get out of it what you put into it.

You used your only two posts, including the "introduce yourself" forum to blindly ask for help. That doesn't usually go well. Introduce yourself, share a little bit. Say what kind of info you're looking for. Otherwise a blind request for help with nothing else on the table with generally get you nothing.

I found lots of general information with a quick google search.

A tag or Controlled hunt? First time elk hunter? I'm betting you read about the Unit in Eastmans. You and 9000 other elk hunter. I'd suggest checking out the University of Elk Hunting and maybe join the RMEF. Show up to a banquet or 2 and listen. Do some research and call the area biologist. Have specific questions show him you've done your homework. I hope you're not heading out there this year. I've not hunted that Unit, but have spots picked out in 76. Always hunted around Island Park before.
