Idaho 10/10A white tail help.

I am thinking about spending the first few days of November hunting 10/10a for WT. This will be the first time I have gone north looking for the other Idaho deer so knowing how popular these units are I thought I would ask for a little help.
I will be meat hunting.
If you are willing to share some info with me please keep a few things in mind.
First. I am currently mobility impaired but still dedicated, resourceful and determined to hunt.
Second. I have a boat and I am thinking of taking it to try and "get away" from the 6000 hunters that hunt the unit every year, IF people think it will help me do so.

I would go during thanksgiving week when the rut is peaking. Bucks will be very mobile. Find a gated forest service/logging road and go for a walk. Walk a bit, stop, rattle, wait 15, and repeat.

Anytime after Nov 15th is the best time. If I was you I would still go for the first couple of days of Nov. use it more as a scouting trip. Find the gated roads and just poke along looking for sign. check about 10 -30 yards inside of the timber along the downwind side of clearcuts for rub lines, new or old, and trails coming into the corners of the cuts. Go back the end of the month and shoot a toad!

What tag do you have? If you have a general tag you can still hunt 1 thru 6. better to uhunt one of those late instead of 10 early.

I really have no choice about when or where so I will just have to make the best of it.
