I woke up one day a few weeks ago and decided I had to fill my void on guns with a wish list item. Marlin 338 express. I found one with only only 56 rounds in it. I posted pics of it two weeks ago. Walnut and blued. Gorgeous. BUT, I really wanted a stainless/ laminated MXLR. So I couldn’t sleep. As you know the good ones are hard to come by. Well I had to get one. Found a brand new never fired JM. Got a scout scope from Schmalts. Installed it all today. Here she is. I went from just a wish list to 2. Can’t wait to shoot it.

Better buy a pile of brass and those FTX bullets they made specifically for that 1 rifle! Right now it's one of a handful still in stock but I wouldn't be surprised if it disappears completely soon.

Well I unfortunately I don’t reload. Surprisingly they are available at decent prices. I have picked up a dozen boxes at far at $30-34 a box.

I love lever guns. I have a Savage 99F in .308, an old Marlin .30-30 and a Henry in .45 LC my friends got me for my wedding gift. They're perfect.

Good stuff man
