If they Cancel the Swim, I'm Bailing. How in the frigg would that be a IM qualifier if they do ? Not that I'm qualifying......but still.

Well today I heard the water was measured at 54F, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Cutoff is 50F. I've done 5 races in 54-58F water and IMO don't thinks it's really all that bad with wetsuits and caps and I'm a skinny wuss. Just HTFU as they say...

I'm A pansy ass when it comes to cold and wet......... 54 degrees ? I was in the bathtub last night at 100 degrees and thought it was just right .

I'm gonig to make my bike into a stick.... cuz when I'm riding it I can be a Popsicle.

Not the Shorts... I'm wearing Short Black short... well... and SHOES !!!

I might switch to Camo pants since the last Station will be my group (ALL 40 of them). I am also figureing out how to pick up a large American Flag at that station so when I cross the Finish line downtown I will be runnnig with the flag.

When are you picking up your race stuff ? Mayeb I'd meet you there. I think I'm gonig Thursday sometime. I work just 3 blocks from the palce. Let me know.

On the swim, I'm meeting Billy goat out there in about 1/2 hour. Nothing like taking a nice freazing Arsch cold swim in the lake. I'm Excited. REAL Excited. Can ya tell ? ...Fetching Excited !!! YAHHHHhhh !! Bring it on !!!

Billy Goat, Thanks for gonig out with me today (And I don't say that to all the men ) . I think I was a Bit Anxious when I got in the water but after a few laps around the bouys I felt better. I still was slow but felt better . I think it took 5 mins for me to get all the dang snot out of my nose to breathe right !! You swam like a Fish.

Looking forward in freezing my nads off on Thursday Morning for another go at it !!!
