I decided to take a hike and see what I could see. Never been here, but its wintering range for mulies, so I hoped to find a shed if anything. Turned out I saw no bears(big surprise) and no sheds. But did see two mulies and some fresh lion tracks headed their way. Some sun would be good, maybe get some green grass growing. I think bears will be here soon.

My hunting buddy, usually will find a shed or two. Not today.

4500 was highest I went. Stumbled through the north facing aspects, to shed hunt on the south sides. Its melting pretty fast. Its actually starting to "feel" like you could see a bear. Have heard of some people seeing them down on private land.

We have been getting some over the past week. Heavy in some areas for sure. Keep adding to it up high. We're gonna flood. All the groundwater potholes are filling fast.
