After moving to Bozeman and not being able to hunt for the last 3 months has been killing me so I just decided to take a little walk in the woods. Turned out to be one of the greatest experiences I’ve had out in the woods I hiked a steep ridge gaining about 1500 in elevation in about 3/4 of a mile. This guy stumbled across my lap as I was glassing the surrounding area. He ended standing broadside at 55 yards for 2 minutes. It was pretty awesome just to be able to get out into the mountains on a beautiful day.
