Got my son in law and nephew proper knives and a small folding saw so that they can more easily dress out deer. Last couple years I've cringe and watch when they pull out their big green river / bowie knives that don't hardly have a point sharp enough to puncture the hide and the blade is dull to boot.

Also got the son in law course and smooth sharpening steels.

My daughter kept me supplied during quarantine after returning from my Montana hunting trip. Been an awful inconvenience for her but she knows how much pheasant hunting means to me. Never complained. And I don't think I have ever said thank you. Sometimes we take loved ones for granted too much. I expected to pick her up something special after quarantine ended on 23rd but we are still in a blizzard ... noon Christmas eve. Everyone will be getting a card with cash this year. That's safer anyway.

I’m quite fortunate. My in-laws give me an Idaho sportsman’s package every year. I get to hide out all year long. It’s way better than a jelly of the month.
