Hunt Expo

I enjoy looking at pictures of some of the silliest hunting gadgets ever thought of. I need to go some year just to see that

I enjoy it too. I enjoy the seminars and the $11 Coors lights.

Pro tip: Skip the paid consultants — just slam a few free 2-oz cups of Mtn Ops and soak up unlimited, unsolicited wisdom from Hunt Talk’s finest panel of highly qualified and extremely opinionated experts.

That pro-tip of the 2oz sample cups comes in handy after four hours of walking and you realize you’re dehydrated. Each stand has a minimum of five flavors and you must try one of each and two or more of at least two to determine which one tastes best. The fact that there are three or four drink companies in relatively close proximity as well as booth walking with trays of your choice of electrolyte or some pink liquid gives options other than the $11 Coors or $5 canned water.

I’m not sure if the light headed buzzing in my ears about 15 minutes later was from the sugar rush or mixing multiple brand’s energy ingredients….😳

Best part of the show was the booth that was selling 60 flies of relatively decent quality for $45.

It was worth going just for the cinnamon nuts. Good to see my outfitter friends too. Lots of stuff that just makes you shake your head though
I wanted them, however the kids forced the kettle corn on me.
