Just wanted to jump on here and introduce myself as a long time lurker. Actually I'm a lurker on most of the forums that we're familiar with and wanted/needed to start being more active. Both my wife and I are Colorado natives and consider ourselves pretty avid outdoorspeople. My personal passion is a toss up between mule deer and bighorn sheep. With sheep tags as sporadic as they are we obviously only get to that every once in a blue moon, but I'm always willing to lend my eyes and back to someone that drew a Colorado tag. I've got experience in both S50 and S51 and love being down there for the lucky tag holders if they're willing to put up with me.
I've attached a few pictures from previous hunts. The bighorn is my old mans from S50 and was just as much fun as you think it was. The antelope are both my wifes and my muzzy bucks from the last couple of years. The birds are my late winter passion, specifically quail in Kansas. My wife is pursuing her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at KSU and I have the distinct pleasure of making the excuse to jam out there multiple times a year under the guise of "visiting my wife". The real story is that the dogs just love chasing coveys and I don't mind following them around. Living on an old farmhouse accompanied by 800 acres doesn't hurt either. Chasing quail out the backyard wearing PJ's in December always gets the dogs riled up.
Anyways you'll probably be seeing me post a few stories here and there so I look forward to being more active!
