Howdy from central Texas

Howdy everyone. My name is Randy and I live in central Texas and hunt primarily on my lease about 2 hours west of San Antonio. I hunt 99% of the time with a handgun and also do a little bow hunting. Married with two teenage daughters (yes, two. teenage. daughters.) I'm planning now for a DIY elk hunt hopefully in New Mexico next fall. If I don't get drawn, I'm still going - just don't know where yet but I'll be buying a leftover tag somewhere.
