Howa HS Precision .300 WM

Just wanted the group input here. I've got to get a "larger animal" rifle, and I've settled on .300 WM as the caliber. And I think I've also settled on an HS Precision as the rifle, but that's what I'm seeking input on. I want to keep it under $1000, and that seems like a good, accurate, not-too-incredibly-heavy gun in that price range. Am interested in feedback from people who have it, or considered it and went another direction.

And obviously, if anyone on here can point me toward a good deal on one, I'll take that too. Thanks all.

Don’t own one, but from what I hear it’s a great rifle. I have a Tikka T3x in 300WSM that would be comparable and I really like. Suggest you try as best you can to handle a few rifles in that price range to see what fits you best. For they most part they will all be well performing guns.
