She won't tell me. Yet. Only that the Dr is threatening to not pay her. $20-$22 per inch is not unusual. With shipping (he lives twenty hours away) and tax must be well over $700. She usually takes down payment to cover materials which would be close to $400. So she won't be losing anything but labor. His gripe seems to be it doesn't look like a dead half rotten fish.

I'd put it on eBay and send him the link, let him bid against the unwashed masses for the final purchase price...

Price tag was right at $900 Canadian taxes included (13%). The form alone was $500 Canadian. The wood "cookie" the fish is mounted on was $90 (raw ... I stained, finished, and mounted the hanger). She didn't make any money on this one. $900 Can = $665 US
