Last venue the wife and I went to it was $18 per drink. Do they really expect people to tip much. Ridiculous. As far as standing up at the counter 12 people deep in line to get a 12.00 beer at a music concert and then a card reader is turned around? yeah it's highly optional and usually no.
I haven't been to Subway but twice in my life, but in Hastings Nebraska while travelling I was pointedly asked by a green haired nose ringed heifer how much I wanted to tip. I said "I'll decide when I'm through eating". I got my sandwich at the counter, went to my table, ate, cleaned up my table and left.We started a new rule in the house, don't tip if we're standing up to order. Heck even subway asks for tips now
Texas Roadhouse the other night, $35 and change was the total...
My 9 year old and 2 year old ... so basically yes. Got the happy hour steak deal, along with cheeseburger sliders and mac and cheese for the kids. Waters and lemonades for drinks.did you eat there by yourself?

man, everytime i walk through those greasy handled doors a terrible, disgusting, delighted, and uninhibited version of myself erupts. i don't think i could leave there for less than 50 bucks if i ate there totally alone, regardless of any happy hour.
