How many days are your out of state elk/deer hunts

This year will be my first elk hunt and planning on 12 days

to many factors on days off, OIL tags, super hard to draw tags, how far away is hunt and do I have other tags that are better that year all factor in vacation time

Family and work make it tough for me to be gone for more than 10 consecutive days. For deer usually 5-7 days and for elk 7-10 days

Depending on what my employment status looks like, my Wyoming hunt could be as little as a couple weekend trips or more than a week at a time.

I'm packing for 3 weeks this October

My "hunt" for this year will be an elk hunt...7 days of hunting, 2 days of travel.

I will whitetail hunt a few times throughout the fall and winter from Fri to Sun, but my wife comes with me on most of those since we have a cabin. No kids.

18-20 days here. Couple days are used for hauling the horses. From the Midwest so by the time driving and acclamation occurs I usually have around 16-17 days to hunt.
