I know nothing about Magnum Rapid Camp, but I do own a Cabela's Alaknak 12X20 which is made from polyester material. I bought the Roof Panel Protector to protect from cinders from the stove. I would imagine it would not do well near a misplaced campfire. The nice thing aout this tent is even my wife can set it up by herself. On sale now for $1,049.
