In CO, a handgun has to be locked inside of a hard sided container when left in a vehicle. Is that a law?
That's the thing, it only states vehicles in our handbook, nothing about inside of the office. Just checking that I was completely reading it correctly, seemed odd that there is no mention of carrying in the workplace. For the record, only 5% of our employees have company vehicles, being it may be related to vehicle insurance makes sense. Also, many business insurance policies require employers to ban weapons in company vehicles.
Interesting, that is crazy. How can a US citizen be expected to know such laws state by state as they interstate travel for work and pleasure? Traffic laws are pretty universal state to state for this reason although I know not entirely all the same but close enough that US citizens dont exactly get commonly in trouble on the road for breaking state traffic related rulesIn CO, a handgun has to be locked inside of a hard sided container when left in a vehicle.
I mean, you've obviously figured out how to use the internet since you're posting here. Surely you aren't so naive as to think all 50 states have the same firearms laws?Interesting, that is crazy. Can if you are a Wisconsin CCW permit holder: https://cbi.colorado.gov/sections/firearms-instacheck-unit/concealed-handgun-permit-chp-reciprocityFirearm laws are a lot different than traffic laws (as are marijuana laws as well).
I don’t think we’d be legally able to concealed-carry in Colorado regardless, for instance.
