How Close do you want to be?

I would love to get real close to the game I am pursuing. A 5yrd shot on an Elk would be awesome. Just thinking about it gets my blood pumping. The closer the better for me I guess when it comes to Bowhunting.

TOO CLOSE would be my intitial answer !!! im with you on that there Nut, i like to hear'em breathe! Then i like the gurggle gurggle sound which takes place shortly after my arrow goes blazing through both lungs!!

my closest shot was straight down i thought i was gonna shoot myself in the foot!!!! i hit the deer in the spine it flopped back against the base of the tree i was in!!!! pure luck probably never happen again!!!

The deers side was touching the tree I was in when I shot.I shot one while it was sniffing the tree after I had climbed it to.Both with a bow.
