heres three of the best that have shown up so far at the food plots. middle one has its antlers going straight out over its ears. thinking the way its going, may hit the 18-20 inch spread mark. thats good for this area down here. and all three are ready to split at the tops.

Spitz, yes, those are on my property. down in the main food plot. far right one is standing in an old mineral lick. had a mineral block down there when I first bought the place. hopefully when I plant the alfalfa and turnips this fall, they will go to that plot. the one they are using is a no hunting zone.

Was kayaking while channel cat fishing down the Elkhorn river here in eastern Nebraska yesterday...saw a nice 4x4 velvet whitetail bedded down on the riverbank...was out past his ears with some nice development on top. I haven't been down to my farm in north Missouri lately to glass, but bet they are probably gettin some good development there too.
Hate to wish my life away...but huntin season can never get here soon enough...lol

Tom, loving it down here. just got some turkle byrd pics I'm going to email you. nothing much. hens with the babies down in the food plot. ways away from the camera, but still visible. got rid of the inline. want to find something I can build myself. thinking along the line of the hawkens they carry at BP and cabelas. just want to try doing it myself. working on the secession from the north. plenty of support down here. problem is, none of them can write their names.:D

one of these days be calling you. still have the number from when you sent it before the hawg GT. maybe THIS year you will call and we can meet when you go duck hunting with hillbilly.
