In Ok. a WMA has opened hog hunting due to the amount of damage these animals do to the feed plots the WMA employees plant for the deer and elk. The problem is that you are limited to rimfire and shotgun with small shot (no buckshot). How does everyone feel about a .22 rimfire for hogs, I don't really care for the idea myself I know they may work but there is not much room for error.

Well, it can obviously be done, but I would only take headshots and try for a behind the ear shot. Now a good .22 mag bullet (not one of the lighter "+V" hollowpoints) can take an eating size pig with behind the shoulder shots...especially a quartering away, slip it behind the gristle plate angling forward shot. I've seen that work well, and exit out the other side. I guess I would use a .22 mag with the 50 gr bullet that someone puts out...PMC or Federal, I think.
