I usually cross these spots in my knee high muck boots. And I did a little wilderness kayaking cause it's so high I had to kayak a good 100 yards into normally dry land today. After that I had a skirmish with a moose that decided to charge and chase me not once but twice. He got within 10 yards of me before I got to a tree I could get up. He walked off about 50 yards so I got down and headed opposite direction and he took off after me again. Fun times! Then I ran into some of the wild assholes that hangout in the area and saw they added at least 5 new members to their herd. Then finally an eagle right before I got back to the boat.

I for one do not enjoy staredowns with wild horses haha
Those horses and me have had many stare downs. This time of year they are a little more aggressive cause of the colts. They just keep circling and staring and snorting. Pain in the ass is what they are.
