High Country Mulies

I'm thinking about putting in for a deer tag in Colorado in 2011. Does anyone have suggestions for parts of the state to check out (I don't want to hunt the prairie)? I'm not looking for specific units just some ideas on mountain ranges or large areas (e.g., southwest corner) that might offer up some good high country hunting. I haven't even looked at drawing statistics, so I'm not even sure that there's a realistic chance of me drawing on the first try (but I'm sure someone will speak up to let me know I'm idiot and that I only have a 5% chance of drawing a nonresident).
