In order to obtain a license in Ontario to hunt the wild turkey, hunter's are required to take an in class course and pass a written exam in order to obtain a license to hunt the bird. The current system requires hunter's of four specific groups to incur large expenses in order to obtain a license.
If you are interested in obtaining a license to hunt wild turkey in Ontario would you be willing to pay a fee, (Not yet determined) with all proceeds going back into the turkey re introduction program if you fall into one of the following four groups
· U.S. resident
· Non-Ontario resident (Out of Province)
· Disabled hunter
· Remote Ontario Resident
The course and test may be offered through correspondence or through Canadian Camo's secure on-line server. This method of course delivery will eliminate the need for expensive travel to take a one-day course and allow individuals to obtain a license that could otherwise not obtain one due to costs of travel.
