I don't think I have had much more than a few day's home since September, between chasing speed goats, wandering the hills for deer and elk, a trip to Western Washington, and another to Virginia, two elk to cut up and fire meetings, this has been a very very busy year since the hunting season started.
I have to run to Helena today for another meeting and finish up cutting two more pieces of elk from the two that we got this year and things should start to slow down a bit... R I G H T...... some thing will come up I imagine that will keep me swamped with things to do. It hasn't stopped since fire season bout ended this year.
But one good thing I suppose, it is making the season between fires go a lot faster, the year is almost done and a new one is getting ready to climb into the buggy and pick up the whip to get things running again.
It's already seven thirty in the morning and I have to get running to get things up north moving.
I didn't get any trophies this year, well as trophy's as some seem to have to collect, but the expierences that I have learned and collected are way more valuable than any thing else I could have done.
I started a new thread in the survival section on fires.
I think it will be a little different than any thing that I have posted yet, I sure hope you guy's enjoy it, or at least learn a little from it.
Have to run, time seems to not wait for me and things have to get done.
Russ.... :)

Its good to hear from you on here again Russ. And its good to be busy it keeps you out of trouble...LOL
Quick Draw

HAHAHA!!! You guy's are funny.....
Thanks one and all....
I am still cutting up elk, so the stories and picks will have to wait, only two more pieces left, and they will probably be taken care of today.... :)
