My son and I are going to try a BLM hunt in Colorado 2020. Thoughts on units and odds of OTC tags? Any other advise or ways to do a "do it yourself" hunt?

Easiest route (if there is one) is to lease a hunting spot on the eastern plains in a unit with left over tags every year. If not, you are likely looking at archery or waiting in line like the rest of us.

And if you find land to lease on the eastern plains in units that have leftovers, let me know, I've been looking for a reasonably priced lease for years.

Just my opinion if you're not from Colorado I would go straight to Wyoming...if you are from Colorado save up and go to Wyoming lol or like said find a rancher or talk to Cushman he is pretty success at OTC archery

There are no free lunches for pronghorn in Colorado. Buy a private land hunt, check huntin fool or gohunt for vouchers

I would recommend a Wyoming doe hunt. You should get a tag, the cost is minimal, and there is way more public land opportunity/more animals than CO.
