Tomorrow morning, Calif. zone D-7 opens for rifle deer & bear.
I'm heading up to meet a few buddies at one of the places I bow hunted, more of a deer area than a bear area, but you never know. The season is five weeks long, so no hurry. Opening weekend is more of a get togather with old friends, I'll hunt all day, then stay up drinking beer around the campfire till the wee hours.
