I’m bored on this ride home, so to waste some time, here is the Wyoming cow elk hunt story…..4 of us from Michigan headed to the Bighorn’s and 3 of us have full coolers….the end! I really want to shoot a bull someday😀

Congrats on filling the freezer. Nothing wrong with doing a cow hunt or 2 before you go after the bull.

Honestly I’d rather shoot a cow any day. Packing that head out is just one extra pack trip I don’t really want to make anymore and I have a good limited entry elk tag this year.

I get it! I just enjoy hunting elk, but I haven’t killed a bull yet; have mostly hunted with cow tags. One bull would be nice some day.

Ain't that the truth! Shot my small bull solo this year and I almost said screw the head after packing 6 trips out in 80 degrees. I was absolutely spent at that point but still packed it out.
