Has anyone seen anything like this????

this deer was shot in our camp on opening morning of our gun hunt here in central Ontario.

The deformed antler is covered in velvet and is soft and gooey in the middle.

Needless to say we were happy to take him out of the gene pool.

I think its from an injury while the antler was in velvet, but I don't really know. I've seen some like that before though.

My brother shot one something like that back in the late 80's in Montana, club was a bit shorter than on yours. He told me he saw another one damn near just like it this past weekend. Very cool buck!
