I archery elk hunt in grizzly country and pack a Ruger .44 Super Redhawk for protection along with bear spray.
Just curious what kind of holsters are popular with everyone. I have a Mikes shoulder but it is cumbersome and also in the way of pack straps and binoculars.

Looking for a recommendations for a pistol holster to use while hiking with my family. We have a two year old that I typically have in a pack on my back. Don’t really want to wear my binocular case just to go hiking. Is there any chest type holsters anyone would recommend that you could wear...

The linked thread above seems primarily geared towards holsters NOT for a bino harness so I'll just throw out one for a bino harness, because I was looking for a long time. Marsupial Gear makes one that attaches to molle webbing on the bottom of the bino harness - mine is Mystery Ranch and works perfectly, but their harness also has the webbing as I'm sure many others do.
