Looks like there's a population race between Grizzlies and Wolves in Montana. Between the Yellowstone, and Norther Rockie ecosystems alone, we have over 1500 Griz. Time to take them off the list too.
I get a kick out of dude interviewed in the article. He says the Grizzlies in that region are growing at a 3% rate, which is good for Griz. He goes on to show numbers from 2008, 09, and 10. The population increased by 20% for 08 to 09, then 3% from 09 to 10. That's a average of 10% for the two years. Funny how they play politics with numbers. Just say the truth. In the three years they counted the population, it has increased by an average of 10%.
