I am new to HT from eastern North Carolina. Have been deer hunting since I was 8 with my Grandpa. Started with the traditional dog hunting but prefer to stand hunt. Probably have taken over 100 deer in my lifetime. I also have taken a few black bear and several turkey. but mostly prefer deer hunting. For the last several years I have been mentoring kids hunting. We had a pretty good season last year. I only took one buck myself, but I cleaned 8 deer for the kids.
