After about 4 weeks Hoyt CRX 32 max1 camo
52# 27.5in draw
3D arrow 262gr 304fps
hunting arrow 306gr 286fps

still waiting on the side plates and a 8in carbon blade stabilizer.

Very nice I really liked the one I tested out earlier this year.

Very nice! Can't go wrong with hoyt. But 52#???? Is it for your kid?

Nope I am just a puss.52# yep do you need more than that?Goes through deer like a hot knife through butter.A good straight flying arrow and good broadhead put in the right spot is the most important thing.

I used to shoot heavy poundage also but now I only pull 60# . I found on those cold mornings where you sit for several hours, when you do get the shot the heavy pounds make it much harder. Only had one not pass through and it was a placement issue.

Sounds good. I use 75# , but hunt mostly elk at long range.:)

I think if I were to hunt elk I would have to go to a heayier arrow like an axis or something and would be limited to 40yrds or so,I dont know never shot one. Some day hopefully I get a chance to try.The Crx is available with 80 pound limbs for the guys that whant the extra umph.I dont think I could pull that back LOL.
