Goose season ends

Put up the decoys and cleaned out the blinds and trailer. Cleaned up the shotgun and got out the ice fishing gear.

We had a great season and will be counting down the days until next season.

Looks like you had a great season Jeff. Ours was exceptional down here around Helena. I also parked my decoy trailer in its permanent off season spot and stuffed all the blinds, decoys, and gear into it to be cleaned and organized when warmer weather returns. Until next year.

Looks like you had a good season. The goose in the third pic, what up with the white stripe down its neck? I've never seen that before, but it sure looks cool.

They are kind of color mutation. We have shot several over the years.

That's cool. I wonder if it's a cross with snow goose or some sort of pinto like whitetail get sometimes?

My taxidermist calls them "Quill Marked" not sure exactly what that means but I'm sure he likes it because it gets him business

Those are some really cool markings and man I sure do miss those Glasgow sunsets with the ditch parrots going to roost by the river. Can't wait to get back soon.

Nemont, that goose with the yellow tips on the feet must be the product of a migrator and a local hooking up at the park...:hump:

Good pile of birds. We have until February 8 here. I may get a couple more hunting with my bil.
