Plenty of goldeneye. I usually don't shoot them, but the first day was very slow early and GuNR was bashing me for not shooting. After skinning this one, I remembered why I don't like shooting them. Pretty birds and plenty of action, but I try to pass.

Very cool. I wouldn't have expected many goldeneye to be out in that part of Montana. And yea I'll agree about trying to clean them, that's a tough skin!!!!!!

No waders needed when I can't launch my boat and I have a labrador "retriever".

Actually, 4 of the mallards were jumped.

What Map, just curious if you have another method that works on Goldeneyes? We shoot quite a few of them and have yet to figure out an easier way to skin them. Even tried using an air compressor and ball needle just under the skin. Didn't work.
